Phase II: The True Love Commitment with each other An invitation of a personal growth and enrichment of their mutual love and relationship; to value each other in the dimension of “flesh of my flesh and bond of my bones”. Phase III : The Fruit of Love Commitment with their family A conscious restoration and renovation of family values which implicate a mutual respect, and the integrity and dignity of every human being. The dignity of marriage and family is expressed in the document of the Vatican Council II ,”Pastoral Constitution on the Church in the Modem World “ (Cf. 47) , “The well of the individual person and of both human and Christian society is closely bound up with healthy state of conjugal and familiar life.”
Camino y Esperanza What is it ?
What is it ?
· An archdiocesan process in which couples married or unmarried spiritually and pastorally accompanied in order for their marriage and family to be restored and evangelized.
· A response to a pastoral need of the Hispanic families in the Archdiocese of Chicago “Camino y Esperanza “ translated “ way and Hope “, means that only Jesus Christ, who is “The Way”, can marriage and families have the “hope” to overcome all difficulties life presents. “ Camino y Esperanza “ also gives couples involved, the opportunity to be part of families evangelizing families. This occurs through an organized on-going process in which couples make direct contact with other couples. Objectives of Content · Restore and fortify the domestic church, promoting Christ as the center of marriage and family · Help couples that are unmarried, whose relationship is based on love and honesty, to be conscious of the need of the marriage sacrament. · Promote the cultural values thatunify The Hispanic family. · Promote the elements of our Catholic Objectives of Action · To promote a personal encounter with God and to continue His way of faith, love and hope. · To provoke dialogue and the use of better communication skills between the couple and their family · To give necessary support in the restoration of couples with difficulties.
